WELCOME

The MAP web site has been temporarily relocated to a mirror site for online submissions of conference proposals. If you are not re-directed in five seconds, click http://www.csun.edu/english/map09/.

Welcome to the Medieval Association of the Pacific web site.

The Medieval Association of the Pacific is an organization of university faculty, students, and independent scholars from around the Pacific Rim, including North America, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. The Association was founded in 1966 and has a distinguished history of supporting interdisciplinary medieval studies through its annual conference and its journal Chronica.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The annual meeting of the Medieval Association of America will be held 6-7 March 2009, in Albuquerque, hosted by the University of New Mexico.

We are now accepting proposals for the 2009 conference online! To submit your proposal, click Register.

CHANGES TO THE WEB SITE

We are in the process re-doing our web site to create lots of new functions such as online membership, conference paper submission, and conference registration. Currently we are waiting for UCLA to install a new server on which we can enable the technology used on the new web site. In the meantime, we've set up a mirror on the web site of the English Department at California State University, Northridge. All the content is the same and the UCLA address will temporarily re-direct you to this site.
