Romani Maps
At the bequest of Margaret Romani, for many years a Friend of CMRS and a frequent participant in CMRS events, the Center has acquired approximately forty Renaissance era maps and illustrated manuscript pages. At the Center's direction, a number of these items have been placed in the UCLA Young Research Library 's Henry J. Bruman Library of Maps and Government Information. Others are on display in the Royce Reading Room. The bequest also included a variety of books which have been added to Royce Reading Room collection. The Center appreciates the generosity of Ms. Romani whose contributions benefit students and scholars.
