Certificates The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies offers certificates in Medieval and/or Renaissance Studies to UCLA students who complete at least four courses in medieval and Renaissance subject matter outside of their department or interdepartmental program. Recipients of the certificate become Interdisciplinary Student Affiliates of the Center for the duration of their enrollment at UCLA. There is no fixed list of applicable classes at UCLA that can be applied towards a certificate. The roster of UCLA classes with content relevant to medieval and Renaissance studies is constantly changing. To help students identify them, a list of current classes is posted (under the "Academics" navigation link in the menu bar at the left) for both graduate and undergraduate classes. Students should check UCLA's online Schedule of Classes for the most current class listings. For more information about a specific class, contact the instructor or the academic department. Send the letter, CV, and transcripts to: UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies There is no annual deadline for applications for Medieval and Renaissance Studies Certificates. The student may apply for one at any time during the year once the appropriate courses have been completed.
